About Us
Hi, I’m Brittany,
Chief People & Culture Advisor
The seeds of BeKindWorks were planted during my 12+ years as an HR leader across diverse industries. I witnessed a critical pattern: technically brilliant managers who struggled to genuinely connect with their teams. Despite deep expertise, something essential was missing. The turning point came when I watched a highly skilled manager lose half their high-performing team in just three months, not because of salaries or titles, but because people didn't feel seen, heard, or valued.
Organizations were promoting their most skilled individual contributors into leadership roles with strategic training but leaving them unprepared for the real human challenges of leadership. The leadership development industry had created a false choice: be results-driven or people-focused. Technical or emotional. Commanding or kind.
Bridging the Leadership Gap
Drawing from experiences spanning from manufacturing environments at Anheuser-Busch InBev to fast-paced retail at Target, I developed the KIND Framework, a methodology that integrates both technical leadership competencies and emotional intelligence. This framework emerged from a powerful insight that true leadership requires both Knowledge and Insight, both Navigation and Drive.
BeKindWorks was founded with a clear mission to transform how we develop leaders. Our name embodies this dual purpose, “Be Kind” represents the empathy and authenticity great leadership requires, while “Works” represents the practical, results-driven approach needed in business.
Today, we partner with organizations to develop leaders who drive results while building cultures people want to be part of. When you combine technical skills with genuine human connection, teams thrive, retention soars, and performance reaches new heights. Because you don’t have to choose between being effective and being kind, the best leaders are both.

Our approach
The Heart & Strategy Behind BeKindWorks
Why the name "BeKindWorks"?
Our name embodies our dual mission in leadership development. “Be Kind” represents the human element essential to great leadership, empathy, authenticity, and genuine care for others. “Works” reflects our practical, results-driven approach because kindness without action isn’t enough in business. Together, they capture our core belief: you don’t have to choose between being kind and being effective, the most successful leaders are both.
What experience shapes our approach?
Our methodology is built on over 12 years of leadership experience across diverse industries. From manufacturing environments at Anheuser-Busch InBev to high-volume retail at Target, we’ve witnessed firsthand how leaders who balance technical excellence with genuine human connection consistently outperform those who focus solely on metrics. This real-world experience informs everything we do, from our KIND Framework to our coaching approach.
How did the KIND Framework develop?
The KIND Framework emerged from a critical observation: organizations were creating a false choice for leaders, be results-driven or people-focused. This framework bridges that gap by integrating Knowledge (strategic understanding), Insight (self and people awareness), Navigation (clear direction), and Drive (purposeful action). It’s designed to help leaders navigate complexity with confidence while building the meaningful connections that drive sustainable results.
